HOMEMADE PIZZA AND HAM AND CHEESE KARIMAN MAKING
On May 19, 2023 ( Friday), Gapan SC in Putlod, Jaen, Nueva Ecija conducted a training on how to make homemade Pizza and Ham and cheese Kariman. The trainers were the Branch OIC and 1 TAAS Agent. Included in the training was how to sell and how to do the costing. It was attended by 39 (7 members, 26 residents of the area, Insurance and Account Officers.
BAKING AND PASTRY MAKING
The training was held in Bacoor SC entitled Baking and Pastry Making on April 14, 2023. It was conducted by the DBB Branch Manager, Armida Lerios.
URBAN GULAYAN TRAININGS
Urban gulayan trainings were also given to members were a demonstration on how to grow vegetables in their residences even in small spaces (like hydroponics) were shown. This training was in partnership with the Department of Agriculture. Seeds were distributed to trainees after the event. Trainees did not just learn but was given an opportunity of implement what they have learned. Their harvests are not just for personal or family consumption but can be shared or sold in their community or neighborhood.
