Musmos Bangong Alaga: A Blessing for the Children
The TSPI Polangui Branch conducted a distribution of free hygiene kits to seventy-five (75) children on October 4, 2024, at Bonbon Covered Court, Libon Albay.
The children did not receive only free hygiene kits because they also had the opportunity to learn the word of God shared by Pastor Roger P. Naranjo of the Bible Christian Church. Ibinahagi rin si Brgy. Health Worker Assistant Shirley L. Ruin, “Importance of Good Personal Hygiene.”
There were also parlor games as extra fun for the children and other attendees.
It also provided an opportunity for Insurance Supervisor Ernalita Renevera to conduct an orientation on TSPI-MBAI’s programs and services. LigaoBranch Manager John Vincent Peranca and adhikain (Vison) explained the TSPI’s mission.
The event was attended by thirty-seven (37) clients, sixteen (16) potential clients, and seventy-five (75) children.
TSPI staff led by Area Manager Salve Garcia, Ligao Branch Manager John Vicent Peranca, Polangui Branch Manager Ryan C. Roda, and Senior Insurance Supervisor Nedy A. Ampongan were also present, along with Account Officers and Insurance Officers of the TSPI Polangui Branch.
The Musmos Bangong Alaga is covered by the Health and Sanitation category of the TSPI Sambayanihan Program. The purpose of the program is to promote the health of the children through activities such as feeding programs, hygiene kits, and vitamins.
