Kasalang Bayan

Kasalang Bayan (Community Wedding) is a Sambayanihan activity that gives value and promote the holy sacrament of matrimony among unwed couples. This holy sacrament is being officiated either by parish priests or pastors to signify the blessing of God. TSPI MBAI members
were provided financial support for the following objectives:
1. Complete documents that also reflect their legitimate identity as a Filipino citizen and as a Christian
2. Promote Christian values among the family and celebrate the holy matrimony
with solemnity
3. Commemorate meaningful and memorable experiences for newlywed couples together with their family and significant people in their journey as Christians
Nagcarlan Branch in Laguna, Mangatarem Branch in Pangasinan and Antipolo Branch in Rizal in partnership with the local churches in their communities held its Kasalang Bayan (Community Wedding) on July 2023 for Nagcarlan, August 2023 for Mangatarem, and January 2024 in
Antipoolo. Total beneficiaries were 44 couples. Pre-wedding activities such as completion of documents for marriage license (i.e. confirmation/baptismal certificate, birth certificate and cenomar), 2 sessions of pre-wedding
seminars were facilitated by TSPI. Logistical preparations and the actual wedding events were prepared by TSPI and partner municipal offices and churches. Transportation expenses and fees for the documents were provided to the couples from their houses to the municipal hall or church while processing the documents.
